Our mission as a Church of people who seek to follow Jesus, hasn't changed in almost 2000 years...
Jesus' last words to His first disciples provide a clear imperative for mission:
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20
Ultimately, the vision that Jesus gave to the Church in John's 'Revelation', is that of a gathering of a great multitude of people from every nation, tribe, people and language worshipping Jesus as Lord, who is worthy of our praise. Revelation 7:9-17
The Good News of Jesus and His Kingdom is just that - good news for all people!

Jesus is the reason why we do what we do!
At TBC, we are committed to living our lives in a way that takes Jesus' mission for the Church seriously. We do this in our Homes, Street, Neighbourhood, Town, State, Nation and World.
Below are some links to various organisations we support, and mission-work we're involved with:
TBC is involved with teaching SRE in local Primary Schools in Taree, Old Bar, Chatham, Cundletown and Tinonee. All Teachers are passionate about sharing the Good News of Jesus, and are fully trained and accredited. The Baptist Association of Churches NSW/ACT is a recognised SRE provider.
Baptist Mission Australia is our association's cross-cultural mission agency. BMA serve amongst a specific number of the most 'least-reached' people groups around the globe. Taree Baptist currently supports teams in Indonesia, Mozambique and Thailand.
Baptist World Aid Australia provides disaster relief funding for local communities to use 'on the ground'. They also work to empower communities to establish self-sustainable community development projects holistically.
TBC contributes to the BWA Christmas Appeal each year, and to Disaster Relief Response Appeals online.
